In 12^th grade, I was completely focused on becoming a computer graphic designer. I had taken art and design classes and loved it so thought I was cut out to do this. GiveTeens20 (and checking out a course catalog!) helped me discover that this wasn’t a fit. What WAS unexpected was going back to the career that I was interested in when I was a kid….radiologic technologist…a complete twist from graphic designer! I have collaborated with GiveTeens20 over the past three years and appreciate the curriculum and guidance they bring to Fremont schools as their presentation content is not normally taught in the schools. What is especially helpful is the partnership GT20 has with corporate partners (Safeway, MacDonald’s, Target) who join GT20 in the classroom and lead the Interview Skills & Strategies portion of the presentation. Our teachers and students alike are consistently impressed with what this organization offers.
